Colorado Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Association (COTBDAA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in August 2016 to elevate awareness of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases for Coloradans and throughout the Rocky Mountains. Our mission to elevate awareness of tick-borne disease includes education, prevention, research and advocacy, including patient support.

Southern Tier LYME Support, Inc. was created to provide education and awareness about Lyme and tick-borne diseases. We do this through a yearly conference where highly peer-reviewed Lyme literate medical doctors speak to medical professionals, patients, family and researchers. We are a 100% volunteer organization and we rely on the generous support of our community, business partners, donors and support group members. LivLyme Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the work of researchers and scientists who are dedicated to finding the effective treatment for Lyme disease and ultimately finding the cure. LivLyme Foundation also provides assistance to children and their families struggling with Lyme Disease through education and funding.

Dr. Richard Horowitz is a board certified internist in private practice in Hyde Park, N.Y. He is medical director of the Hudson Valley Healing Arts Center, an integrative medical center which combines both classical and complementary approaches in the treatment of Lyme disease and other tick-borne disorders. He has treated over 12,000 Chronic Lyme disease patients in the last 30 years, with patients coming from all over the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand to his clinic. He is former Assistant Director of Medicine of Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and is one of the founding members and past president elect of ILADS, the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society. He is also past president of the ILADEF, the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of health care professionals on tick-borne diseases.
Dr. Horowitz has presented at numerous local, national, and international scientific conferences on Lyme disease and has published on the role of novel “persister” drugs, co-infections and toxins in Lyme Borreliosis. He was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year award by the Turn the Corner Foundation for his treatment of Lyme disease, and has dedicated his life to helping those stricken with this devastating illness. His national bestselling books “Why Can’t I Get Better? Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease” and “How Can I Get Better? An Action Plan for Treating Resistant Lyme and Chronic Disease” (St Martin’s Press, February 2017) explains his full classical and integrative approach to helping those stricken with tick borne diseases, immune dysfunction and resistant chronic illness.

Pet Food Project is a 501c3 non-profit based corporation based in Colorado. Our organization provides food, veterinary medical supplies and veterinary services to individuals, animal rescue organizations, shelters, pet food pantries and sanctuaries. Our goal is to support these organizations so that they may continue to provide foster services and veterinary medical attention to the animals in their care.
